The plaque is painted with a palm tree superimposed on a map of Europe and the Mediterranean. 3 in top left corner, Iron Cross at the bottom; an E Boat forges its way across the centre. | 947     WW1 Prussian Officers pickelhaube. A fine example with rounded front peak and gilt metal fittings. The front bearing Prussian eagle helmet plate with large FR to centre. Circular spike base secured to skull by four gilt stars; pearl ring to the lower part of the spike. Two part State and national cockades support gilt metal chin scales. Brown leather sweatband; no evidence of silk/cotton liner. Minor age wear generally VGC. (£600 - £700) |
| 948     German. Prussian ORs Battlefield pickelhaube. This example shows evidence of battle and was probably a brought back by a Tommy during the war. Black leather example with grey metal fittings complete with Prussian helmet plate to the front,. Leather lining to the interior with various ink issue stamps 1918 and pencil name and regiment of the original owner. 6 Korp 4/93. The pickelhaube is misshapen and shows evidence of shrapnel damage. | 949     Prussian. WWI Other Ranks Feldmutze. A good example of an Imperial German Other Ranks issue in field grey cloth with red band and piping. The lower band is covered by a field grey cover with has been partially stitched. Complete with both state and national cockades. Faint issue stamps to interior. GC untouched condition. ... Accompanied by a field grey single epaulette, this embroidered with a red crown over V. | 950     German Luftwaffe 2nd pattern Officers dagger with straps & knot. A good example by Clements & Jung, Solingen. Orange ivorine grips with twist wire binding, the plain blade bearing makers details; the crossguard and langet bearing an eagle and swastika; the pommel ornamented with swastika and oakleaves. Housed in its plated scabbard (dent near tip), the plating of which is worn in places. GC Complete with its rather well worn RZM marked hanging straps and a rather fine aluminium wire knot. | 951     German SA dagger with vertical hanger A fine example. The blade etched Alles für Deutschland and with RZM mark and M 7/27. Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and enamelled circular SA device. The nickel cross guard is stamped Ha (indicating Hansa district). Housed in original brown painted nickel mounted scabbard with brown leather hanging strap, the clip bearing diamond OLC logo, and leather vertical hanger stamped DRGM 1292208 complete with belt loop. Generally VGC, vertical hanger with service wear and a little rusting. (£350 - £400) |

To the front, an aluminium eagle and swastika; below, aluminium oakleaf wreath with cockade to centre; small edelweiss between the two. Black patent leather chinstrap supported by black buttons. Black pressed fibre peak, leather sweatband with orange lining; celluloid makers diamond now absent. Inside of sweatband with ink makers oval, 14./G.R. 139 and dated 31 März 1938. To the front, a large aluminium eagle and swastika with black panted scroll above N.S.K.K.. Complete with fold down neck flap with integral earpieces and chin strap.
