BOSLEYS 13th December 2006 - Prices Realised
Unsold items shown with estimates maybe available at the lower figure for a few days.
(Please note prices maybe subject to revision)
We are absolutely delighted to report the most outstanding sale in Bosleys' history. The top price of the day was £14000 for the Isandhlwana Officer Survivor's 1879 South African Medal.
The largest ever badge section, as usual produced some tremendous bidding and many records were broken.
The Frank Mitchell Headdress Collection attracted great interest and spirited bidding ensued with some wonderful results.
The historic despatch case sent from Napoleon at the gates of Moscow in 1812 to Marshal Soult in the Peninsula and captured by a British Captain raised £6500.
Medals, uniforms and curios all proved very popular as did the German section and aviation. Bidders came from counties far and wide and a grand day was had by all. Although some amazing prices were achieved, as usual there were several bargains to be had in most sections so it is certainly worth attending if at all possible.

All at Bosleys would like to thank the vendors for kindly entrusting us with their items, to all those who made the journey to Marlow and to all those who took part with commission bids.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Health New Year.

Yet again a wealth of fine material has already been consigned for the March sale but if you have something special you would like to include, please contact Auctioneer and General Manager, Benard Pass, without delay
