666     Royal Navy Victorian Boer War silver bosun’s call.
A fine and rare example by H & T bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1899. Each end of the barrel shaped buoy bearing Crowned fouled anchor on a lined ground; the keel ornamented with skilfully hand engraved scrollwork. VGC (£400 - £500)
667     Queen Victoria scroll box for Grant of Arms etc.
A good attractive example covered with simulated black Morocco leather, the lid and front with gold tooled crowns, VR cyphers and ornate lines. GC Approx 21 x 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (£80 - £120)
668     1888 International Exhibition of Navigation Travelling Commerce Manufacturing Medallion.
This very fine silver medallion is detailed to the obverse with the head and shoulders of Queen Victoria. The reverse a detailed picture of Britannia standing amongst ships and Nautical Commerce. The exhibition was held in Liverpool in 1886. Housed in the original silk and velvet lined case. GC (£30 - £60)
669     20th Madras Native Infantry Officers’ Mess plate.
A good example decorated to the centre with a large regimental device set on a white ground. The wide border is of light brown. The reverse with printed details “Regiment 20 M.N.I.” “A. Pellatt London” Overall GC but a small hair line glaze crack to the front. (£60 - £100)
670     14th King’s Hussars Officers’ Mess plate.
A white china dinner plate made by the Royal Worcester factory. Decorated with a transfer of the regimental device. GC. (£30 - £50)
671     Royal Flying Corps Potters Bar Zeppelin Trench Art Ink Blotter.
This rare ink blotter is made from aluminium salvaged from the doomed Zeppelin that crashed at Potters Bar. The top is engraved with: RFC Pilot’s wings and “Made from the Potters Bar Zeppelin Oct 1st 1916” and the name “Major E Parkin” GC. (£150 - £300)
L31 was shot down over Potters Bar on 1st October 1916 by Lt Tempest of the Royal Flying Corps.
672     Miniature French Cavalry sabre.
A fine quality example approx. third size. Slightly curved plated blade with double fuller and stamped “Depose”. Three bar brass guard and black simulated horn grip. Complete with plated scabbard bearing single suspension ring; black cord sword knot with acorn finial. Generally VGC (Approx. 12 inches overall length) (£200 - £250)
673     2nd Bn. Coldstream Guards Heavy-Weight prize boxing belt.
A fine and attractive silver mounted (HP London 1950) example of tapered dark blue leather with central crimson leather band. To the centre, a silver and enamel Warrant Officer’s pagri star; above the star a silver scroll inscribed “2nd Bn. Coldstream Guards” another below “Heavy-Weight”. On either side, two plain Garter stars engraved with winners’ details from 1951 to 1969. (£400 - £600)
674     Coldstream Guards Regimental Music stand drape.
A good scarce example. A Garter Star embroidered in silver bullion and coloured silks onto a drape of blue and red cloth of the Guards Division, these colours are repeated to the tassels. Retaining supporting pole, with silvered ends. VGC. (£80 - £120)

676     44th (E Essex) Regiment Officers’ Mess plate.
A rare early 19th Century example produced by the Spode Factory. The obverse is decorated with a floral design and edged with a gilt rope border. The reverse with “HM 44th Regt” under the glaze and impressed “Spodes New Stone”(indicating 1805-1820). GC (£100 - £120)
677     Boer War / Great War British Cavalry Compass
This black painted brass example with a solid lid. This stamped “Cavalry School Compass”. Contained in the original polished brown leather case, with belt loop. (£30 - £50)
678     Scottish Regimental base drum.
A George VI period rope tension example. The woodwork ornamented in red and blue. Bears large colourful transfer of Scottish Royal Arms, and a large number of scrolls bearing battle honours from Blenheim to Burma 1942-44. Complete with skins, colours remain bright GC. (£100 - £200)
679     Shanghai Municipal Police presentation silver cigarette box.
A very fine and rare cedar lined example of rectangular form, the base marked “Luang Senc” “Silver”. The lid mounted with cap badge viz. silver eight pointed star mounted with strap inscribed “Shanghai Municipal Police”; central enamelled medallion bearing the motto “Omnia juncta in uno” and with the flags of the nations represented in this International Settlement set on a white enamel ground. The lid also bears approx. 20 facsimile signatures. The inside of the lid bears a rectangular silver plate engraved “Presented to R.G. MacDonald Esq., Deputy Commissioner of Police Specials by the Officers of the Shanghai Municipal Police as a token of their esteem on the occasion of his resignation from the force on ARBERY 22nd 1942.”. It would appear the loops on the back of the badge remain. VGC Approx. 195 x 130 x 60 mm. (£400 - £600)
680     Shanghai Volunteer Corps Armoured Car Company 1931 prize shield.
Wooden shield bearing silver badge device (armoured car within laurel wreath surmounted by star inscribed SVC; double scroll on the base of the wreath “Armoured Car Company”. Separately mounted, a scroll “Middleton Cup 1931”. Reverse with folding arm. Tip of one scroll absent otherwise GC. (£50 - £75)
